It is an honour to be coaching the Sydney Roosters and I am proud to be associated with a Foundation Club that has played every season of professional rugby league in Australia and has such an enthusiastic group of young players looking forward next year.

While 2009 wasn't the year the Roosters were hoping for, Management recognise how important the Members feedback has been on the way the Club has handled the incidents both on and off field. As a Member, you will always have a voice at the Roosters and your passion does not go unnoticed.

2010 is a season of change for the Club. We will introduce the first High Performance Unit to the Sydney Roosters, utilizing the latest technology to ensure the team is at the cutting edge of the sport.

We are appointing a staff of top quality coaches and specialists in their areas with the aim of taking the team back to the top of the competition.

Players, staff and management have also committed to improving the off field aspects of the Club and a new Code of Conduct has been written that each player must abide by, in line with what the Club, Members, Sponsors and Community expect. This is a non-negotiable for the players and will be strictly enforced.

The players themselves are a group of extremely talented individuals and with the right discipline and training can make an outstanding and competitive team on the field in 2010.

After meeting every player and staff member at the Club, I am confident that we have the ability to put 2009 behind us and looking forward to a much improved 2010 both on and off the field.

And as a Member, it has never been more important for you to be involved in this evolution and enjoy the journey with us, past 2010 and into the future.
